| RNASE8

RNASE8 (Ribonuclease A Family Member 8) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Innate Immune System and Defensins. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the pancreatic ribonuclease family, a subset of the ribonuclease A superfamily. The protein is expressed prominently in the placenta and exhibits antimicrobial activity against pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
